32-Bit Software Gains Utility When Supporting OR Moving Away From Old Hardware

This is the ultimate reason I don’t think 32-bit support should be dumped. There will probably come a time when other people want to move off Intel/AMD hardware for security reasons or something else, and having a 32-bit stack suited for software emulation is probably the most seamless path – the newer software is probably already portable, and the older software effectively runs better now in 32-bit.
